I turned on hulu to watch this the other day but didn't finish the first episode. I just finished that first episode and paused it to write about it here. I have to say that I am grossly fascinated by the show, and while there are parts that make me cringe and want to lash out, there are equal parts that fascinate me in a whole other way. I will finish watching this series and will either be more the better for the experience, or all the worst for it. We Shall See. I know @CelticEagle is watching it, but anyone else?

I'm watching this. It's being shown on terrestrial telly over here and I think we have two episodes left. I read the book a couple of years ago and that both fascinated and disturbed me. I think the telly show has done a remarkable job at conveying that, although I'm not entirely sure how true to the book it is staying {but I think it's fairly close}. It's thought-provoking and sad and makes me so very angry. I do think that it is something which could feasibly occur in the future, which is highly worrying. After all, one only has to look at Trump and Putin ...

I just finished the t.v. series last night. It seemed to leave it on a cliffhanger, so I assume there will be more to come. I intend to read the book and will make my own judgement on which I liked better. I certainly hope nothing so horrifying and immoral occurs, but if it does I will be seeking refugee status in Canada pronto.

Its based on the book right? If so I can see why it would be hard to watch at times. Is this sjow only on Hulu?

I haven't read the book, so I don't know. You know how books that are turned into movies go though.. Yes it's a Hulu Original.

I'm not watching but I read the book years ago. It was time well spent, reading that book. I hope we never get to the point that the book predicts, a theocracy dystopia for sure.

I certainly hope not either, though I think we are far away from such a thing...

I didn't see the rest and I don't know how many episodes I had watched as I canceled Hulu. But it was a good show for sure. Yes many parts made me quite disturbed.
