Restaurant issue when ordering food.

We went to a restaurant last night to have dinner. Everyone is already eating and most of them are done with their food while i am still waiting for my order. When my order came and saw my family's plate that are empty i just decided to take home my food. I don't want them to wait for me to finished eating and be in a hurry.
So on my way home i was like telling then that i should atleast stay at home and they can just simply bring food for me than waste my time going. But it's my fault because i ordered a different food hehe.

Thank you. I was very disappointed because i was hungry that time but i can't complaint because my family were enjoying their food and have fun together. I don't want to ruin their mood. But the food was actually great and i just finished it at home. My daughter even eat half of it when we got home.

It's ok because it is our favorite restaurant. Normally the restaurant is full during weekend specially at sunday.

That is just bad customer service in my book. They should have just given your meal for free since it took so long to be served.

Yeah you'rw right. It is crowded during weekend due to family day. Some families normally dine out. And this is the only restaurant near our place and near the church that we went into. Since the staff and foods are great i just didn't complaint.

I have had this happened. I order something simple that I always get which was fries, chicken tenders, and shrimp. Everyone else had more complicated dishes and had gotten theirs and were almost done eating. I had not had a good day, it wasn't my best week of the month (if you know what I mean), and I hadn't eaten all day so I was on fire when the waitress told me that she hadn't even put the order in at all because she forgot. I got so mad I was in tears and then she cried and she ended up quitting after that night. She wasn't a good waitress at all and all of her tables were complaining about her so it wasn't just us. She had just got fired from my mom's job because she couldn't count money.
Saturday night we went to Outback and the waiter we had couldn't count money either or was trying to gip us out of money because he brought my dad the wrong change back by about $6

Yeah i can certainly feel you frustration there. Though in my case i just keep quite because i saw my family are happy with food. And probably next time i will just order the same food as what they ordered for us to get the food all at the same time.

When you are in the restaurant, it is best to order common food so that you can get yours faster than others. Otherwise, order the same food with one of your family members.

Not acceptable, and it doesn't matter what food you ordered. A well run kitchen will push out plates at same time. We had a small restaurant, and unless it's a mistake, it's not hard to do. Ok. I must confess, if table had small kids, their meals would come first....adults can wait, lol.

Yeah. The order was fast actually. My family were able to get their food fast. Mine was late because i ordered late. I wasn't sure of what to order that time and just keep on checking of what menu to order and their order was already delivered. When their order delivered that was the only time that i order.

I hate it when that happens! It is a bit embarrassing and I also hate sitting watching people eat whilst I am sitting there hungry. It tends to happen to me if I order a vegetarian dish as they are not as popular and so they seem to take a while longer to cook.

Going to a restaurant with your partner and the waitress seems to forget that both of you came in together and is trying to flirt with that person and your ordering but its like she can't even hear you
