Before I doze off (long night last night, long drive today, great concert, I'm pooped) let me introduce you to another song that I love that's shown up in a commercial. You may be surprised that this song is this low in the countdown, but we all have our faults. Here's the next ad. #9: Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash You have to admit this isn't exactly the greatest Clash song in history. Having said that, bad Clash is better than about 98% of other things out there. In 2015 Choice Hotels decided commercials that featured the title line to entice people to go on vacation would be a good idea. I don't know: do you really want punk fans staying at your hotel and going all Joe Walsh/Keith Moon on you? Or worse, Clash fans who think that was the ultimate sell-out and would go somewhere else out of spite? One thing is for certain: the use of one of the Clash's biggest hits is far more consumer-friendly than their current "badda book, badda boom" nonsense. Should I Stay or Should I Go Written by Mick Jones, Joe Strummer, Paul Simonon, and Topper Headon Recorded by The Clash From Combat Rock, 1982 Used in Choice Hotels commercials, 2015 It's always tease, tease, tease:

They could do it all. Even radio-friendly tunes.
