Thunder, Lightening, Torrential Rain and Hail

A storm is passing through my area and it's making my heart pound. The thunder feels like it's right over my house and it's booming. The poor dogs are shaking and so am I.
Torrential rain is coming down in all different directions, you can't see out of the windows and hail is hitting the windows.
The weatherman says it's due to the excessive heat but geez this is crazy.
Every time it looks like it's going to stop it comes down in buckets. I swear this has been going on for the last 45 minutes and I'm so worried because my daughter is driving home from work in all of this.
I'm trying to distract myself but it's hard when so much is going on outside.
Hope the sun is shining in your neck of the woods.

It's overcast and fairly humid for this desert region but no rain so far. I hope you get some sunshine to dry up all that rain and let the flowers bloom.

I know how it feels, I also feel so worried when the weather is that bad and my son is not yet home. I pray your daughter arrived home safely.

Sounds like a bad storm..there might be a bit of rain coming here but not a big storm. Its hot here.
