Yes the moon rocks! Today my hubby says is Apollo Day. Its been 48 years since Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the moon and made history. My hubby has an aerospace engineering degree. This is a very special day to him. He insists we go out to dinner tonight to celebrate. It was quite a feat, us Americans touching down on the moon's surface. I wish I could remember that day in my childhood. He sure can.

@sallypup We were born in Western Australia and have lived all our lives (so far) in the state. We were living in the same area where Skylab came down too.

@JudyEv What a neat thing, to be living where Skylab came down.

I can remember that day. We watched it on TV at school. It was a giant step for us into the future. Enjoy our dinner
