When will the hot weather be over?

I posted on FB recently a status that said, "When will winter get here already? Can't stand this heat."
Someone I know posted a comment that asked me if I'm serious... Yep, I am. I am a winter baby and the heat is exhausting for me, not to mention that it makes me sweat a lot, which is disgusting. So, yes I want the cold. Had enough of the heat.
Then, my cousin replied telling me to stop complaining and enjoy life. First of all, if I want to complain I have every right to do so. Second of all, it's hard to enjoy things in this heat. It takes me almost half an hour just to get to transportation, so by the time I get to a bus or train I am exhausted and very sweaty, and just want to go back home. So, I want this hot weather to be over already. I want much cooler temps. It doesn't have to be freezing. Just below 70. When will that happen?

It's not like I am a constant complainer. I am not. Someone suggested I go to the beach. Why would I go to the beach when I can't stand the heat?

@TiarasOceanView On a hot and humid day the last thing I want to do is lie under the hot sun. And it's not like there are palm trees to provide some shade.

At least you can look forward to that happening! We have tropical weather here so it's hot and humid all year long

@lovebuglena The lowest is probably around 25 degrees Celcius, but in the highland it could be as low as 18 degrees Celcius. It has been very hot lately.

I would definitely not want to live in that time of environment all year round. What's the lowest temperatures you get there?

Probably not until mid-September. Do the best to beat the heat by staying cool and hydrated and wear sunscreen if you need to go out.

I try not to go outside unless I have to or I just can't take it anymore being home. Thing is I live in a three-story house with a basement. On the third floor even with AC a lot during the day it is terribly hot and stuffy. We can't even sleep there. We sleep in the basement. And I hate taking the shower there because as soon as I get out I am hot.

@KristenH I can't wait to move out of this house. I am living here because it's my parents' other house and we get to save on the rent.
