At what age is it ok to stop giving a bath to your child?

Don't laugh My last bath from my mother was at 12 years old. I trained my kids to have their own bath from 4 years old and do it independently at 7 years. well of course my 7 years still wants me to bath him occasionally. at this stage I do inspections to ensure they are getting it. Just curious at what age do you think you should just let them bath themselves?

I feel like starting to let them do it on their own around the age of 4 or 5 is a good idea but I wouldn't leave them in there alone. I would sit in the bathroom with them so I can supervise them but let them wash their hair and bathe own their own. I feel like around 7 they could be trusted to be in the bathroom completely alone to take a bath/shower. Can never be too careful with kids and them being around water.

True,"Can never be too careful with kids and them being around water". I really think by 7 is a good age.

It depends on many things. I just helped my granddaughter (6) to wash her hair while taking a shower. She showers by herself, but I saw that her hair needed help with the shampoo. She rinsed it though.

I do not have any kids but I think at the age 7-10 they should be able to bath independently without supervision. Maybe reminding them if they are too quick or something to ensure they're throughly clean.
