Warner Brothers studios motion picture "Dunkirk" that was directed by Christopher Nolan lead the box office for this past weekend. "Dunkirk" was based on a true story during World War II. It is evident that historical movies based on true stories have been received better by movie fans compared to fictional movies like "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "War For The Planet Of The Apes" who were beat out by "Girls' Trip" which was first comedy of the summer of 2017 to be a hit movie which was released by Universal Studios..

@TheInvisibleMan Would you believe that some entertainment bloggers are blaming Nolan for the failure of the majority of the summer movies? Rubbish.
