"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall" What? Don't give me that look. I couldn't think of a good title or a relevant one for that matter!

Sheesh! People are so serious these days. No time for fun. Anyways. this is just a quick catching up with what I have been up to for over two months. First my Grandfather had had a health scare which led to him admitted in the hospital. He is a heart patient and he was having difficulty breathing on his own. At the moment he is home but he has this tube thing attached (I am not sure what they call it) for proper breathing. A couple of weeks later he was admitted, I was in an accident where I hurt my ribs and had 3 gashes on my knee that needed stitching along with bruises and scratches in several places (mainly legs and feet). Since the wounds were on the joint along with bruised ribs, I was practically immobile for over 17 days. It took me more time to get my knee to bend and work normally with the help of exercising a bit. Though I wonder how long does it take for a stitched wound to not be tender? And while I was recovering, we got another bad news. My aunt who has been fighting Cancer for over 2 decades had taken turn for the worse. Doctors had given up! So we just waited and watched her waste away. She passed away couple of days ago at her home with her family. SO, I am telling you all this not for sympathy or stuff like that. I just wanted to get it out there (finally) I have been avoiding this place and festering all this in for sometime. I just want to move on and not dwell. Thank you for reading!

Sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. I had noticed yours and Dani's absence and wondered how you were. I can't seem to be able to send messages so couldn't ask in private. Yeah, wounds and scratches can take what seems an age to heal. Just remember what Groucho Marx said, "time wounds all heels" Or something like that.

I wondered where you were, and I'm sorry to hear about your troubles and that of your family. It does help sometimes to write things down.

@Daljinder This makes me really see how long I haven't been on here properly. I won't say anything about what you've posted as we have already spoken about it during the actual events and don't wish to make you sad or anything. BUT what I will say is....why and who was it that assumed Humpty Dumpty was an egg? It's never stated in the rhyme that he is an egg.

@VivaLaDani13 Lack of imagination or probably too much of it? And why didn't the egg broke when it "had a great fall"???

@Daljinder He did. "All the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put Humpty together again." Meaning he broke apart. And why the hell would they send horses to mend an egg anyway?

@VivaLaDani13 *facepalms* oh I forget that line... SO yeah it did broke apart. What a mess! Horses probably came to carry the "remains" of Humpty Dumpty.

You are right, we need to put out our feelings or else it kills us form inside. We need to move on. When Nasa first began sending astronauts into space, they were confronted by a small problem. Their standard ballpoint pens would not work in space. They spent a decade and twelve million dollars designing a pen that would work below three hundred degrees, in space, and on glass. Russia used a pencil.

Well I can quote something here - I do not know whose quote is this: "Life is what happens when we have other plans." Well, my sister lost her brother-in-law to cancer last year July, and this year March her mother-in-law passed away. I also had some setbacks last year, when things were going great, but after that there has been a bit of struggle. So sometimes, we can share things which could look silly but make us laugh, because sometimes life is hell bent upon providing us things which make us cry.

Your grandfather may have a ventilator tube inserted to provide oxygen or possibly a higher than normal pressure ventilator (kinda like my CPAP machine) but I bet it is an oxygen ventilator tube hooked up to an oxygen tank. vanny told me about you being involved in an accident that damaged your leg/ribs. (And then you told me, too.) Hmmm... the last time I ripped my elbow open and had to have stitches it took about two months before the wounded area stopped hurting. (Long after the rip looked fully healed.) One of the nurses told me I was just a big baby. When I ask the doctor how long it would continue to ache, she told me it could hurt for two or three months after the stitches were removed. (Every person is different. Our bodies can/might react to damage differently than anyone else.) I am very sorry to know about you losing your aunt to cancer, DJ. I understand. I still needed to express my sorrow and let you know (as if you didn't already) that if there is ever anything I can do to help you/your family, you only have to ask. If I am able to help, I will help!
