Native American Indian Casino

Yesterday I drove a couple hours south to let Tony visit his Uncle and friends , its been a couple years since I have actually went into or through the town of Wetumpka , Alabama since they live out by the river. But not wanting to put pressure on the elderly to cook for us we thought about going to the casino for dinner because both of us have before in the past, I do not gamble at all (I don`t see feeding a machine dollar bills to watch a little thing roll around and the words game over showing in two seconds as fun, not my kind of fun!) but Tony will play up to $20 and leave. The Native American Indians are the only people allowed to have a casino or any type of gambling in Alabama. Anyways its been years since I stopped in and the same for Tony although he has been down that way more times than me. First they moved the casino into the hotel lobby since I/we was there last. Now its this massive room filled with machines so I asked " where is the food and do you still have a buffet?" The man directed us to follow the wall, all the food is around the walls is over half of the casino. Before walking into the NEW dining place I glanced at a sign, and grabbed Tony`s arm to stop him, I said " its $28 each now." He said " No way!" and he walked over and asked the lady and it was actually $30 each plus tax, here that would be 10% tax but I am not sure about that county but I did not care. We politely walked away. Tony wanted to play a few machines before we left so he spent $4.00. I was in a hurry to get out and not because of gambling or no food but because of the perfume they were pumping into the air and all the cigarette/cigar / pipes smoking. Nowadays there is not much that bothers the old asthma but all those smells combined was! I asked Tony " How can you breathe this?" He said " not easy." By the time we left he was coughing his head off and I am sure that smell stuck to us because that is all we could smell. I do love my Native American Indian heritage , yes I have a little blackfoot in me, but the Creek Indians are getting greedy, Food was to expensive, it should have been left at $10 each since they were already taking all peoples money with those stupid machines. I would not dare go into the nice, I mean very nice gift shop after seeing the price for a meal, heck 3 wings was $7.00 at another hole in that wall, And now they have a gas station and on the right side of the casino was the cigarette shop where smokes were less money, not sure where it is now. I used to see Indians working in the casino, nope! Not anymore I did not see one. I am just in aw at how much things have changed in just a couple years with this casino. I wont be going back, probably ever. I was so disappointed. Have you ever been to a casino?
