While reading a post by my friend @TheInvisibleMan , I thought about telling you how the cuttlefish experiment is going so far. I cleaned it and cooked it as the recipe online said and cut it in bite size. I am going to save it for a couple of days because I have too many leftovers yet. I copied-pasted the recipe and sent it to my email box. That way, I can retrieve the recipe when I want. This one is for a first course, with lettuce, a delicious sauce (also explained there) fresh cilantro leaves and red pepper. YUM! I got involved with the cuttlefish in Aruba as Claudia bought a couple of cans. We had appetizers with mayo. Yesterday, I was about to buy a can (around $3) when I saw some fresh cuttlefish at less than a dollar a piece. After cooking, what I bought is equal to 2 cans. Clever girl!!! I´ll tell you about the recipe when I eat it. Meanwhile, I tried it alone and it´s delicious.

I´d say it´s seafood. Like a giant calamari.

I never had cuttlefish? Sounds interesting? What other fish does it taste like if any? Pardon my ignorance, but your description has me curious and hungry

It is like a giant calamari. But it is sold by pieces.

Here in Latvia we cannot get such fish because we are far from the ocean. If anything shows up it is usually expensive. Enjoy your fish.
