Inspection and Laundry

I got off the computer early because Housing said they would be here between 8 and noon. So I watched The Originals on Netflix that I've really gotten interested in the last couple days, and waited, and waited.
I was also in a lot of pain from what I did yesterday in preparation for today's inspection. I couldn't sit long anywhere until the second dose of Ibuprofen started working. Which also meant no pool today. The Ibuprofen took hold finally and still I waited.
Just before 11 the guy showed up and five minutes later he had the inspection complete and he was gone. A quick call to my daughter to make certain she was home and I was able to do laundry, you never know when the city is going to turn the water off again with the road construction in front of their house, and I was out the door.
Now I'm home and ready to interact again. I also need to get more work done on my book. So I'll be here until the notifications are done.
It also feels like an ice cream day. I'm thinking about opening that ice cream finally and enjoying a little today. I think it's been untouched long enough.

Yes do have some ice cream Valerie why not. You deserve it, you have been so good with diet and all.
I am sorry about your pain still. Glad the ibuprofen finally began working.

Yeah, great - NOT when you're waiting to get out of the apartment to do laundry. Oh well, it's all done now. And I've taken another dose of Ibuprofen as it wore off and my back is in serious pain, so I won't be on the computer much longer.

@TiarasOceanView No. It's just over stressed from all the lifting I've done in the past 24 hours. I just need to relax and not do anymore lifting of any kind.

I hate that. We clean, and they say a time they'll be around, just to stay for a few minutes. Drives me nuts. Enjoy the ice cream. I had some an hour ago even with it being cold here.

@Courtlynn I hope all goes well. They set up the inspection when my year was almost up here so they could determine my new portion for my rent, which is lower than it is now

I hope you are feeling better. I really hate having to wait for things like that. Nobody gives you a time. You just have to wait, and you cannot take a bath or start anything.

@MsBooklover It did and I got the notice from Housing today that the apartment passed the inspection. I knew it would. Now it's official.

I had the day off of work today.
And I had a good day, I got a lot of little things done and I feel so relaxed and happy.
You're having ice cream, I bought a carton of frozen yogurt today while I was at the grocery store.

I got to spend some time with the Lord just pouring my heart out to Him and reading the Bible. I just love my times with the Lord in the morning. Then I did my exercises and got a shower now I'm on her with you precious souls myLotting! I am going to a fair tonight and I am so excited to go on the rides and have a funnel cake!

@just4him O I so look forward to my time with God and in His Word. I'm trying to get up earlier as I'm wanting to have more time with God and my schedule has become very busy. I'm having to take things one day at a time sometimes one moment at a time! Where it used to be I couldn't find anything to keep me busy. It's taken a flip flop. I'm putting my trust in the Lord and His leading. I used to work out 6 days a week but I was a glutton at night and out of the 70 pounds God helped me to get off I put 20 back on. I realized I was relying on the exercise thinking I could eat what I wanted as I was exercising, yeah right! Well I repented of gluttony and asked God to please help me. Well as God never fails me He's helped me for the last 16 days, I have been doing great thanks to God taking over and I can feel the weight coming off, exercise or not, God will get the glory for my weight loss not exercise, pills or potions just God Almighty! Thank You Abba Father!

@Butchcass4 That's great! I need to lose quite a bit of weight in order to get the necessary knee replacement surgery. However, no matter what I try, and yes, I do pray and seek God on how to accomplish this, nothing is working. I've gone to a mostly fruit and veggie diet with meat a couple times a week. I rarely eat any sweets, and I'm in the pool most days. I don't over eat, never have, so gluttony isn't a problem. Still I've only managed five pounds this month. I had eight, but I gained three back. I've sought God on my diet as I don't follow any specific diet. I'm just trying to eat healthy.

I agree. My time with God is precious to me. I have the Christian Music Choice station on at the moment. It is a nice background for being here. I hope you enjoyed the fair. I've tried funnel cake once. It was enough for me. I know you said once you really liked it so I hope it lives up to your expectations.

Well I just got done posting some items on Let Go and one on Offer up. I also made some taco meat to have for dinner tonight. I haven't had home made tacos for quite a while.

I hate waiting for people to show up but at least the inspection didn't take long. Hope you had a good day, got your laundry done and enjoyed your ice cream. My ice cream indulgence won't be until tonight when I sit and watch some tv. I have the Originals on my watchlist but haven't gotten around to it yet

I started watching that this past weekend and love it. Yes, I'm glad the inspection is over. The ice cream didn't happen as I thought it would. I ate supper first and then no room for it. I'm planning on it for today though.
