How The Horse will earn over $1.0000 on-line today! Really!

I woke up this morning to a "reminder" email that a "survey" was waiting for me at "E-Poll," a site I joined years ago. I went ahead and took the survey. It took about 15 minutes. Basically, they ask you about brands, and you get to say whether you've used them, whether you like them (lots of 1 to 7 scales), and so on. The LA Clippers were one of the "brands" I rated. I earned "500 points" this morning, which translates to about $00.6700. I used to cash in every $10 or so and get Home Depot gift cards, but now you can have them pay you via PayPal when you reach a certain level. I checked my account, and I have 10,000 points, which would be good for a $10 PayPal deposit and change, but I can get $20 once I reach 13,500, so I'm going to wait. The problem with E-Poll is that you can't just go to their site and go survey-crazy. They send surveys to you randomly, maybe twice a month. So if you're an internet earnings junkie, there's no reason not to sign up, but you won't earn much over any given year. As for my title, if I earned 67 cents this morning, I only have to earn 33 cents at MyLot to have a dollar day. I can smell the leather in my Porsche now!

You will be $1.00 richer today ! I haven't done anything with "other" sites in a long time . . . perhaps I should start checking in again and get a little richer every now and then .

@TheHorse I'll have to look into that one. I have forgotten I am apart of some sites too - YouGov (I think that's what it was called) works similarly to E-poll . . . very easy but you get the surveys only when they offer it to you. In all the time I've been there, I haven't reached the pay out at all (but maybe because I haven't been there enough ).

E-Poll is easy, but sometimes I forget that I'm signed up there. I'll do a few more of their surveys and claim my $20 in a month or three.

@much2say I'm not really interested in signing up for any further sites, but for those who really like to "make money on-line," E-Poll is kind of a no-brainer. And they actually do pay, though the process is slow.

Nice earnings. I think I'll stick to SB, Inbox Dollars, and Mylot for now.

MyLot is enough for me. I'll do a survey if I have the time and feel like it. There are also some places where they let you comment on stuff. So if the "product" was "Kim Kardashian," you know I'd have a little fun with it.

I doubt that they would kick you off. But if you haven't received surveys in awhile, they might have given up on you. Hope you can remember your password!

Congrats to you. Well done and good luck ahead. Unfortunately these kind of survey things don't work from here in Latvia.

@TheHorse I guess we just don't have such a system here. I remember I once tried to get on some survey sites and most of them wrote back that their surveys did not apply for this country. Finally I gave up. Perhaps now there are Latvian survey sites so I will have to check this out.

Oooo woo hoo. Actually I'm impressed you made it that far. Seems like whenever I try surveys anymore I make it most of the way through the survey before they tell me that I have been disqualified. Meh.

Heh heh. This particular site doesn't do that. But I've had that happen on random surveys for which I was supposed to be paid $5 or something. They get the info they need and then disqualify you. Feh.

@TheHorse Exactly! That's what I wondered, it is a way of getting data without paying perhaps. Gr.

I have one that is that way. They send me an email, I follow the link and do the survey. Can't remember what it is called but I have been a member of it for years too. I like to have several ones like this that I am a member of. They accumualate slowly and occasionally I get a pleasant surprise.

Exactly. I'll just "chill," do their surveys when I feel like it, and eventually have an extra $20 in my PayPal account.

I never know when one will come, or if I'll be in the mood to take one. We never get to see any results of the surveys.

So you are finally deciding for a Porche, I remember we discussed about cars and you had a choice of two, I think the other was a Maserati.

Well, I live kind of frugally overall. I'm not sure exactly what I'm saving for, but I'm a comparison shopper. I will see which I prefer, and which is lesss expensive, in 2714 (my updated delivery date).

That's the funny thing. It's doesn't "toss" you to the site when you're done with a poll. I didn't know I had "10,000 pts" until I checked this morning.

That is so funny,. Seems like every little penny of all the sites will soon add up to 1 dollar and you will be rich for the day. Hope you can make your earnings grow to more pennies and have more dollars piling up in all of your accounts soon.

@TheHorse It depends; usually a month but that also depends on how many I do and am qualified for. A lot I don't qualify because I'm oldern' dirt or I don't have every electronic device known to man. The surveys can range from 4 points to 8, 12 or more per survey. Oh and I made a boo-boo. It only takes 100 points to cash out. I cashed $38.40 on 7/10 and already have 132 points today which is $13.20.

I used to do a lot of surveys and earned money and often gift cards then suddenly when I did a survey I would get almost to the end of the survey and would be informed I didn't fit the persona they required. After that happened a few times I didn't do any more. But I enjoyed it while it lasted.
