Because I'm trying to move, I'm going to sell most of my books which is several hundred. I already have five boxes full and still have more to go. Unfortunately I will not get anywhere near what they are worth since I will be taking them to a local book store that buys used books. If I had the time, etc. to sell them on line at eBay or somewhere, I would get a lot for some of them at least if not all of them.

Good luck selling them Stealthy. Its tough when you are in a hurry moving and need to sell stuff ..hope you get a decent price. There is a site called Nextdoor that is for each neighborhood with a classified section too.

Thanks, I'll look into to it. It might be better than Craig's list.

The ebay option is good, as you will get more money from there

Probably from the money angle but with several hundred books, I think it would take way too much time.

I wish used book stores would offer more than they do. The ones around here won't even pay for them they'll just give you credit to be used in their store.

It is not convenient for you to move with so many books. I know perhaps you don't want to sell them but there is no better solution. I hope you will sell it with a good price.

I love my books. Every year my school has a rummage sale and many people sell their books and clothes and other things. I usually pack up several bags of things to sell, but I can't bear to part from books even though they take up a lot of space. I even started buying books I own on Kindle so I could get rid of the physical books. You know where those physical books are? Still on my shelves.

Very little resale value in books especially now when more and more people don't want real books.
