Being nice and losing yourself / myLot

We tend to be nice to others not to hurt them. But sometimes we have to face some clingy people who want us to believe what they believe. They just force too much. If we say you're not respecting my right, they just don't care but they want us to be what they want us to be not to lose us. Should we still be nice or stand on our grounds? Never expect nice behaviour from people, if so you will be disappointed. All may say that if you behave nicely to some one then you will get back the same, don't believe this, time and people are changed a lot. Every one is selfish.

Treat people the way that you want to be treated. If they do not treat you nice to. Time to ignore them.

There is also a saying treat others for who you are (how good you are) not for who they are (how bad they are). But of course we have to maintain a distance from some for our own sake and that's not being rude.

I have met some like those but now I draw a line. No question of emotional blackmail to have their way. Thus far and no more is the best way - draw a line - siva
