Quit Being Lazy

There is a lot I need to do today and a lot I want to do. Instead I look out at the gray sky and do nothing. I have not made a post yet, but as you see I am now. The problem is nothing new is happening. I do not want to tell you all the same things I keep telling you. I am rearranging rooms, I need to make phone calls. I am hungry. I need to cook. I am sitting here looking at a gray day. Yesterday was also a gray cloudy day. Thankfully cooler than it has been, but it is making me sleepy. We had rain. It looks like the grass grew six inches overnight. So basically I am letting you know I am reading your posts and not much else, just online work. I will pop in later.

Not really and I hate to bore people with so much mundane scurrying.

@GardenGerty I can remember many days when it was all 'mundane scurrying' as you put it. Good choice of words.

We all have those days when it is a cloudy day, just not wanting to do anything haha hopefully you find a little more motivation for today!

Sometimes it is good to just give in to a little laziness. Smoothies are my go to food for when I don't have time or the inclination to cook. I make them ahead and freeze them in chunks ready to pull out and blend on a moment's notice.

I make a pitcher of smoothies up for hubby at the start of the week. Sometimes he wants a little, sometimes more. I can freeze them in individual servings as well. I may take those to school for lunches this year.

@GardenGerty Good idea! If they are partially frozen when you leave for school, they will still be cold for lunch.

@TiarasOceanView he too is improving slowly. Still some fever but he is eating a bit more and drinking plenty of liquids. I make sure he takes his meds and eats plenty of fresh fruit. Hope you're back on your feet soon.

@JohnRoberts there are things that happen, but probably not much that will interest others.

Well you can get down to details and tell us what room and how you did rearrange it, how it works or is not going to work out. What are you cooking? how are you cooking it? Yes me and that freaking grass are true enemies this year...... bring on the cement!

You seemed to be having a really nice time relaxing and not being usually busy. Is it for a change for you? We all have our lazy days, too. I hope you had a time for yourself.

I can think of things to do faster than I can usually get them done.
