I am from Croatia, and i wonder what are the first places and items (or food) that you connect with Croatia? Want to see if you can surprise me :)) P.S.- This tiny town on photo is my home place, on one croatian island, maybe someone will recognize it ;) Photo is my personal work

A beautiful photo indeed, I live by such a place here in Morocco, looks like Greece. Tell us about it a little more.

Thank you :) City is called Krk, and its located on the island of Krk, which is the biggest island in Croatia (405 square kilometers- bigger than Malta ;) ). It has long history, more than 2000 years long. Its a great place to visit and explore, like the whole island.

Actually, I don't know anything about Croatia. Maybe you could write an article about it and describe some of the food and customs.

I follow The Balkans page on Facebook and they always feature Croatia so I know it's a very beautiful country. I remember seeing a picture of Rabac, it looks amazing!

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky. I was in Croatia with my mother in 1962! I bet nobody was thinking of you then, heehee. It was my first summer holiday in a Mediterranean country. I remember the heat and the warm sea. We stayed in Opatija in a private room with a family who was allowed to take in tourists. We travelled around a bit, too. We saw Pula and Postojnska jama (I've just seen that this is now in Slovenia. Strange). I remember that there were handsome young men who were very interested in blonde tourists from Central and Northern Europe. :-)
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

Thanks, i will! :) That was long long time ago. But I see that you visited some very nice places in Croatia. Opatija is really nice, small and beautiful city. Postojnska jama is Slovenija, yes, haha but its close to us.
