It's been a great week of walking, according to the pedometer in my phone. I've walked no less than two and a half miles every day this week, and on two days I walked over five miles. I probably put that much in on Wednesday as well, but I don't wear my phone when I'm playing golf. In celebration, here's another random song on my "exercise" playlist from my iPod.
Don't Go - Yazoo
Or, Yaz, depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on.
Talk about a perfect beat to walk to? This song has it. Walking in rhythm (no, not that song by the Blackbyrds ) to this will get the heart pumping for certain. And, given that it came out in the club/dance/new wave era of the early 80s, there's a remix that's long enough for your particular workout!
Or you can just dance to the song. Same cardio results.
Don't Go
Written by Eric Radcliffe, Daniel Miller, and Vince Clarke
Recorded by Yazoo
From Upstairs At Eric's, 1982
Is it advisable to exercise to a song with a line like "better go get a doctor, doctor came too late"?

I love Yazoo. Of course, I really like Alison Moyet.

I echo Scott. Total thumbs up! Alison Moyet has thundering great pipes. Vince Clarke on the synthasizers.
