Happy Trails to her

Hubby had The Talk with room mate a couple of nights ago. He was nice but firm as he pointed out that Room Mate needed to start looking for other digs. Everything seemed fine. Then on another day Room Mate tells me that she was deeply hurt that hubby did not want her here. She got ahold of her daughter and today daughter is moving her out. I guess daughter found her a place to be. Its a relief in a way that Room Mate's daughter finally decided to be a good kid. In another, I will miss Room Mate. And in another way, it will be nice to not be a land lady. Back to me and hubby and privacy and having this entire shebang to ourselves. That came out selfish but oh well. Four bedrooms for two humans, two dogs, and three cats. So she's packing and putting boxes and bags onto the deck. In a couple of hours hubby and I plan to have lunch in a town to the north. We'll take the pups and find some shade under trees and let the final moving commence. The temps will be hot today so shade is a total must have.

@Courtlynn We spent the first couple of years getting rid of junk that the previous owners had left. Money wise, it was cheap. I'm loving the outdoor room though we do deal with rocks in the garden a lot. We paid the mortgage off a couple of years ago so now its just keeping the taxes paid.

Well that is good news for you. Hey now you have the perfect total of rooms. One for you and hubby, one for two dogs, one for two cats and the eldest cat can have its own room Enjoy your day.

It is always hard to have a room mate. Glad it will be over for you soon.

I hope you're right about the daughter. But I'm really glad you two finally get to prance around as you please without worrying about shocking the roomy. I could never have a room mate, I like to do as I please all the time in here and a roomy would really cramp my style.

Glad to hear you will once again have your privacy back. Its cloudy here today and humid, unusual Lenore. Yes find a nice shade tree for a while.
