Caracas Islands, Venezuela

I don't think Caracas would be my first choice in an island getaway for a week on a cruise ship. The statistics are staggering. I looked at this place on Google Earth and it looks like it has many places you could easily end up getting lost in. Has anyone at myLot been to Caracas Islands? Not me. I was just wondering.
Meeting the killers of Caracas as opposition to President Nicolas Maduro brings Venezuela to the brink

This is surely not the right moment to go to Venezuela, all the big European airway companies have stopped the flights. They are in the process to making Venezuela a communist Dictatorship country.

Venezuela is going through a political and economic crisis right now. It wasn't always that way. It is supposed to be an oil rich country and at one time helped many countries in the region with discounted oil rates under the Petro Caribe agreement.
