Why??

It's 9 pm and the ice cream truck is driving through the neighborhood ringing the bell. My question is.. Why?? Surely it's too late for ice cream trucks to drive through and no one buys anything this late at night. We used to get someone who drove through during the day, but I haven't seen him in over a year. He used to get a lot of business as well.

It is awful late for them to be doing that. Maybe someone needs to mention to him that the heat of the day is when he needs to be coming by.

He used to come during the day and had business, but changed to coming at night.

@LisaSteinmetz It is his loss then. I would rather come during the day and make sales instead of at night and only making noise.

That's not a good time. Maybe he thinks there are some who want dessert!

Maybe, but in a neighborhood of mostly seniors I doubt they are out buying ice cream that late at night.

@LisaSteinmetz Yeah not a good idea on behalf of the ice cream truck. Could maybe get in trouble for going at that hour also

I do too, but they are awfully expensive now. I bought a few ice cream pops for my nieces a few years ago. I spent almost $40 for 3.

Most of the folks who live in my neighborhood are seniors. There are very few kids here.

Well you don't want the driver to melt do you? They probably have a big route and get to your street last.

Very true, but you would think that if they aren't getting business at night then they would try to come earlier.

I would never open by door to a stranger at 9 PM, this sounds fishy.
