So, I got a chance to see Dunkirk today, in Imax. It really wasn't worth the extra money, but I hadn't seen any Imax movies for years, so I wanted the experience. I would very much recommend it,,as it was a true story. As usual it is the quiet heroism of individuals who made the day.

I remember that another user wrote about this movie based on the Battle of Dunkirk, it's not a movie I will go to watch.

I liked..there was not much dying in it for a war movie. What I mean is it wasn't too gory.

I was a bit flumoxed when I saw the previews because I was almost positive it was a WWII battle, but they showed the soliders with round "doughboy" type helmets.. I was thinking what the heck? Although the battle was before the US was involved in the war. They were British soldiers who apparently wore those types of helmets.
