Using Our New Home Phone

Gosh, it's so frustrating trying to figure out how to use a new device! This home phone is my newest addition, to learn about. The silly volume button is on its' receiver, so every time I receive a call, their voice accidentally gets amplified by my own hand. Maybe the smart thing to do, would be for me to read that little booklet, down in the bottom of the box! lol Then, maybe I'll know how to use this complicated, piece of work:( Either that, or I'm getting a bit muddle headed, in my old age. Have a great day! lol

doesn't seem too difficult, I think it is one of those things you get used to after using it for a while.

@Desirousdreamer Some of us are older, which makes these new inventions seem complicated.

@kobesbuddy Age has nothing to do with it, unless there is forgetfulness involved due to old age haha it is more of the fact that no one has the patiences to teach them.

@kobesbuddy Oh yes I know that deal..I no longer have home phone or television but only internet which is just as expensive as if I had got a bundle..but when I get the bundles they always raise the price after a while.

@TiarasOceanView This package claims they won't be changing, for two years. That isn't fair, our price will probably be out of this world, at that time:(

New devices often cause me such confusion. I still do not know how to work all the gadgets on my 3-year-old car. I do not want to read the manual.

Many new items seem to be more complicated than they need to be. We have to wonder if they ever tested some phones with a live audience before they were placed on the market.

@kobesbuddy My techie is called Christian. He's a former pupil from my school. Now he's near the end of his studies as an engineer but he still finds time to help me out. I give him money for his efforts and we're both happy.
