Buy one get one free... Is it really free?

Checking the prices well enough will give you the best answer. I see a lot of stores with that sale going on. some people think oh what a good sale. But they don't know the prices well enough to know that many are not free. I see here they do 3 for $10 and for me that could be good. why because I shop in 3's. But no way will I buy 3 for $10 justbecause it looks good. I need to see that it's truly a sale price. being a regular could benefit you plenty in that case.

Yeah I really scope out whatever I buy because there is so much gimmicks out there that wind up not really being on sale or free at all. Good advice Sharon.

I agree with you. Only today I went to a mini market after the Bank. They had some items that said buy 2 and the 3rd one is free. Yet, for one thing, I did not want to many of that. And then, I suspected that the item had a bigger price than usual if you bought it in units.

I tend to do BOGO when it's on sale at my local store. Sometimes I buy half, if I don't need more than one. Good way on seeing things.

That could be good if you're looking good at prices.

You have to add up costs and break things down to determine if it's a real deal or not.

I never get any of these deals because where we shop don't have them.

some people buy things just because they are on sale or because they have the buy one get one thing. If you don't need or use it, then it isn't a bargain because you are spending extra money that you don't need to spend. I usually don't go for buy one get one free unless it is Yankee Candles because that is a real deal. They don't jack up the prices on the candles for that deal.

You really have to watch. I think most 'sales' are a bunch of hooey. They just hyke the price and make you think you are getting a good deal.

Most 3/$10 are sales.
