I understand that people have differences. But that is no reason to treat people poorly. I feel like out world has advanced so much and we have a accepted so many things in nature so why can't we accept who other people want to be? It is beyond me how one group of people can be targeted so much no matter how much they fight. And its the same way with POC. I mean WAKE UP PEOPLE its 2017!!! And people are still being denied the right to get married??? What sense does that make?

Maybe we haven't advanced with the times. In fact, homosexuals and their practices have long been an age old, ancient human plight. I think 4000+ years ago?

That's a long time for there to still be so much prejudice toward the lgbt community

@Gametimev I know! You observe well. We, humans, are biologically some creatures of logical natural habits, aren't we?

I agree with you and choosing who to marry is a basic human right. Though the church has a stand on this matter, the government's responsibility is to serve his people and protect their rights. I am a christian and may not agree with this, but like what I have said, it is their right and preventing them from doing so is injustice. Tolerance and respect of each other's differences are the keys in solving this matter.
