Please be considerate. Have you ever thought of your indiscretion and selfishness acts which may have triggered a sizable number of marine creatures that have been killed, trapped and suffocated each year from littering? As a result of discarding the trash in the ocean that polluting our ocean. Many don’t realize that the animals will endure and potentially be murdered because of such narrow-mindedness acts. There are numerous reports of the marine animals being killed or suffered because the animals frequently confuse marine trash for sustenance. Despite that the animals don’t speak the same language as we do, that does not mean the animals don’t deserve the privilege to live. Please be more obliging and think wisely before you act. @Shavkat Yes, It's true, but sadly, even in the modern days, many people are still being ignorant and never learn the mistakes from our ancestors.

Marine population has decreased a lot, this year we had an early "Earth overshoot day" in August itself

That is so true, people just throw things 'away' without thinking - where is 'away' exactly? Many things can cause unforeseen problems, for example plastic bags and balloons are mistaken for jellyfish by turtles.

That is so so sad that people do not see what their littering does to the animals.

We should definitely care for ourselves and pets. Many animals are suffering due to human roles. This should be stopped. Rightly so.
7 Aug 17
@mysimplelot Ignorance and selfishness are the causes of sufferings not limited to the animals alone, but we as a human could as well be the next victims of narrow-mindedness acts.

That is sad. Even though I live far away from a coast, I still try to cut open any packaging I get before putting it in trash or recycle, so no animal can get into it

It's pretty saddening that these beautiful creatures die due to human acts. We need to reflect on ourselves and take care of Mother Nature. At this rate, marine life may not survive in the next few centuries.

@holdoors Thank you for the feedback. Yes indeed we have the responsibility not just to protect our love ones alone and neglect of mother nature. If we do not act wisely and soonest or later, many species will become extinct.
