covered litter box / myLot

for all the cat owners on mylot I have a question: are covered litter boxes ok for the cat? I've been hearing mixed opinions and I'm thinking about buying one because it's got smell filter, thing which would help me alot in raising my cat

I have 13 indoor cats @swissheart . 4 regular litter boxes that I scoop 5 times per day. I had an insurance agent come by my house the other day and he had no clue that I had cats since there wasn't any smell. A good litter and teaching the cat to cover up their urine and feces is the way to go.
