Have you ever...

Have you ever forgot if you already posted about something ? I mean I just dread going way back over my posts to see if I am beating the same drum over. Have you ever been tempted to buy something you already have too much of? Like I have very little room any more and its not just my own house now but I have too much jewelry I no longer wear , yet collected and still love and to many paper dolls I collected for years, yet I see more online I would like to have but have to stop myself from buying. Then there are things I have bought over just because I am so cramped here yet needed it and thought I did not have it, only to find it later. Is it just me being so forgetful ? They say an elephant never forgets. Why? Is it because they go back to the same place to die where they were born or what?

I think that happens to all of us no matter what our age.

@bunnybon7 Yes, I have bought something I already had and forgot I bought it already. I forgot something what was very important and cannot remember what it was.

They say this about elephant because if someone hurts them, they will never forget and if they can, they will revenge. Well done elephants! I have a very good memory, like an elephant.

@bunnybon7 This must be genetic, Mom is 96 and she has an excellent memory, I would say better than mine.

Elephants are up there with humans and apes in intelligence. They have remarkable recall. I've often bought the same books or gadgets.

@bunnybon7 I wouldn't worry about posting the same thing. There are always newbies here or people without elephant memories.

I am forgetful too. I usually recall if I bought something cause I use it. Elephants have good instincts and I think that helps.

i have that awful misfortune of worrying about things ahead of time. so buy more then i can use right away, plus everyone else comes needing things i have and not having much room things get put away and also times others ask me and get things till i am not sure if i am out of something if i can't find it
