Not long after I finished vacuuming and came in here to try to post "Good Morning" again, I heard Mom open the front door. Seconds later I heard her say,
"The mail came!"
What ???
Normally our mail doesn't come until around 3 or 4 p.m. I think that our regular mail man is out sick or on vacation or something the last couple of days.
Probably just 'cause I'm used to it, but I prefer to get my mail in the late afternoon -- now I have nothing to look forward to. 
Oh, well, maybe our regular mail man will be back next week.

It does that usually whenever our regular mail man is out.

Ours comes at 3pm during the week but on Saturdays it comes more around 1 as the post office is only open til noon.

In our old house the mail came around 5ish. I like it a little earlier than that.

Lucky you receiving the post so early. The average delivery here is 5 to 6 PM!
