Had to Purchase a New Clothes Dryer

It wasn't such a big expense, but our clothes dryer is a very important appliance. Even during the hot, summer months we depend on this device a lot. No, I don't have a close-line in the back yard, so our laundry can smell like the great outdoors. Instead, we have towering pine trees all around our property, that ooze out sticky, pine sap and prickly needs, during the warmer months in Michigan. For a couple weeks we have been frequenting the laundry mat, to get the job done. Gosh, have those prices ever soared, in the past few years! Thank Heavens, we were able to purchase a new dryer in Saginaw, yesterday and Jay is hooking it up, at this very moment!:)

@kobesbuddy That is quite good a price and no shipping is ideal. I hope he had some help lifting it though.

@Susan2015 My parents bought an Amana freezer, when I was a kid at home. That thing worked for over 35 years, before they finally had to buy a new one!:)

So glad you now have a dryer. I do not hang clothes outdoors due to not wanting to, and I do depend upon that dryer.

I'm glad you were able to get a new one. Yes, laundromat prices have gone up drastically. I hadn't been to one in a long time, but did for a couple months and spending $10 a load on laundry is expensive. That's wash and dry.

I won't hang clothes out no desire to!- the birds would poop all over the stuff then it would have to be rewashed. I have the he washer/dryer they do a much better job than the older style machines.

YAY! I am glad you got the new dryer. I do have a clothes line, no trees near it, but each time the dryer breaks down it rains and rains and rains.
