A Summer Tasty Meal From White Eggplants

Today I cooked a very tasty meal from white eggplants. For the first time in my life I ate white eggplants. I fried them with mixture of cornflakes, beer, flour and salt.

There were purple eggplants on the market but I preferred the white ones because they are compatible with the other stuff I mentioned above. I took the receipt from the Internet. Probably I will try the purple ones some day. But I hear here about the skinny Japanese ones for the first time. Here we have dark blue eggplants too.

Yes, we eat eggplant of every color. These are used by us as often as we have them, but of course, being a seasonal item, we will have them only certain times of the year.

@hereandthere We have had eggplant in colors from white to dark purple (aubergine) here. The season for growing these in our area ends when the weather turns cool. However, those with an indoor growing area might have these all long year.

our eggplants here are the long violets ones and the round ones like tennis balls.
