I prefer summer. I live near the beach and enjoy the sun and water. I also play golf during the summer months. I don't like the cold weather and I am much less active.

Which beaches do you go to on the Jersey Shore? Wildwood has nice sand and activities.

Summer gives us more energy to be free and more independent. Enjoy yourself, it is summer, playing golf seems to me interesting.

In South India where I live we have more or less the same temperature all through the year. The only difference is that it is slightly cooler during Monsoons and a couple of months after that.. So, I would like to spend couple of months at least experiencing severe cold weather..it would be a change !

@Farcha We do but there is not much difference except between Summer and Monsoons after which we have winter and spring . We normally have temperatures ranging between 36 degree and 20 degrees all through the year..

I prefer summer and spring but cold, it is hard sometimes when it is freezing

Warm and rainy winter is good.

And when it is rainy, how can he walk everywhere. I think spring is much preferred for a person who doesn't have a car. Spring is good for walking, sightseeing the nature.

I like summer and winter. That's why I prefer the changing of the seasons. By the time I am tired of winter summer is coming. I get the best of both worlds.

Well my favorite season is Spring, because the weather is getting nice and I can start gardening. Summer is alright. I really dislike Winter, I hate the cold and hardly go outside at all. I like Fall for hiking and such. So I choice summer over winter, I hate all the snow and gray days!

Yes, me too, when winter is hard, I do prefer summer. Of course, spring is my beloved, everything is green, the weather is warmer, sunny.

I think with summer, we can cope up with the heat with those electric fans and air conditioners and clothing that are cool. But with winter, I think it is hard to cope up since we cannot just go outside without donning those layers of thick clothes which seems heavy.

I find it just the opposite. To me it is easier to dress for winter but in summer when it is so hot there is no cooling down unless I go in the pool or air conditioning.

Autumn would be my first choice, but if summer or winter were the only options, summer would be the choice as winters here can be terribly unpleasant.

For me, Spring is my first choice. And summer more interesting. Indeed, winter is not terrible in my country, but in general, I like the sound of rain. But Autumn, it is not special as other seasons.

@ramapo17 I like the colors of the leaves changing in Autumn. It's not beautiful as in some of your States here, but it is very nice from mid October up to the beginning of November.

@LadyDuck I agree with you. Waiting for all the flowers to show up in spring is so great and the smell in the air is wonderful. I also like the fall as I love the colors of the leaves changing. Living in Pennsylvania in the Poconos we had such beautiful red, gold, green and orange leaves in the fall.

I am from the northeast of the USA and we actually had four season. Three years ago my husband and I moved to Florida and to me it is always to hot. My husband has some medical issues and could not take the cold in the northeast any longer. I would have preferred to live in Florida in the winter and the north in the summer. It gets so hot I won't even go outside.

Yes, too cold or too hot, not good for us. we prefer rather than warm climate. Summer and spring are still favorite. But, we have 4 seasons I think they are so interesting to bother routine of the weather.

@petatonicsca I totally agree with you. When I lived in northern USA, I loved the very cold winters and had my bedroom window open every night. I slept so good.
