Do you think that it is good for little children to believe in Santa Clause????

I think its fine. There are people who think the children should be told the truth. But I personally think, we have a very limited time to be children. We can learn the truth and anyother think after we grow up. But you have to give the children a chance to be children. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, believing there is a santa. Now, my children look forward eagerly for Christmas cos they want santa gifts. I never take that feeling out from them for a million.

I think it is great for children too believe in Santa Clause. They are only young once I think they should believe as long as they can.

My husband and I decided not to tell our kids about santa. I didnt want them to think that we lied to them.

But you know, for example in our country, all the young children believe in santa. And if you tell a 4 year old one the "truth", sure she/he will tell to the others. And then what? a lot of hurt children! When they are older, the situation is changed, they can handle it more easliy.

I think there is no harm in it.. I believed in Santa Claus and my daughter ( 5 ) does as well and I intend to teach my son about him too.. it is a tradition .. not just something that someone started to trick their kids into being good for a month out of the year... there's more too it than that and once my daughter is old enough to know the truth... then I will ask her to keep the secret going for her little brother who is now only 5m old.. why spoil it for him?

I think it's good for them to believe in Santa Clause, it excites them so much and puts their imaginations to work which I think is important for a kid.

yes it didn't do me any harm...they are trying to take so much away from children these days, I think they should just let them be kids as it always has been.

I just asked because my little daughter is waiting so much for him to come ... and she's so happy with it!
