I keep trying to come back here and stay for a while and it hasn't worked because I had no idea what I was in for with a new kitten coming to live with me! When I moved my computer into the bedroom, he spent all of his time on my keyboard. Conversations I'd have with people were interrupted by the kitten (Timothy), and everyone knew that it was him! lol But he would also turn my screen sideways (I've since learned how to fix that very well!), and he would shut off my wifi! 3 months old and he's whizzing down the computer superhighway! I've moved the computer back to the living room. I try to read in the bedroom. I get into my rocking chair very comfy cozy. Timothy takes a flying leap from anywhere in the room and lands on my chest! He purrs and purrs and kisses my face and then flying away again! All that flying does make him look like a skinny little batman! lol I bought a huge dog crate for our living room to keep him safe when I'm not home. He hates being locked up in there. I think it reminds him of the shelter too much. But it won't be every day and as soon as I'm home, he'll be out and free. It's a new routine for both of us. And I have furniture to move. One little kitten has brought a bit of chaos to this tiny place!!!! But I'm happy. He makes me laugh. He climbs all over me. He purrs all the time. He snuggles and plays. I was folding laundry today and he took great pleasure in racing into the piles and knocking them all day! And then he rolled in them! He's a hoot. Sent from above to drive me crazy so I'd no longer be lonely. My Britt is laughing in heaven because I'm back on my feel and also laughing! <3
