Its Pouring Down the Rain

It’s 1:30 AM and thunder woke me up. It’s pouring down the rain. We needed some rain. The thunder stopped, but I decided to get up since I haven’t been able to go back to sleep. Now, it’s just raining. I hope it rains all night and then stops before I have to run some errands tomorrow. My grandson is taking “behind the wheel” driving, to get his driver’s license and I have to pick him up. My son will drop him off in the morning, and then I will pick him up. His mother is spending the night tonight, with her parents, because her Dad is not feeling well. They live about an hour away. I’m usually available to fill in, if necessary, which it will be tomorrow. Then, I want to go to the Herb store and run by the Post Office to mail some post cards and to see if I have received any. I haven’t checked for several days now. I guess I should go back to bed. Good night, all.
