I found some delicious blood sausages in the freezer and took out one to cook a sausage with a cooked potato. I was planning to make either a spinach salad or a spinach soup. But then I found some fresh mushrooms in the fridge that had to be eaten first. So I sauteed them in butter, added salt and pepper and they turned out delicious.
I diced the potato in the skillet where I has sauteed the mushrooms and they were much better.
I love blood sausage but I have found that it is a dish that people either love or hate. Have you had them? Do you like them?

I do not know blood sausage.
For breakfast and lunch I have creamed spinach and a bowl of vegetable soup.

What is blood sausage and why is it called that? I like Chorizo sausage which is a local thing. We have a lot of Basque people here and they have them.

This sausage is made with spiced blood from cattle when they slaughter them for meat.
