Wet and Sloppy

Before going out to get a little work done today I allowed myself to get wet and sloppy.
I awakened to a barking dog, he was staring at the back door, I took him food and gave him a good scratch behind the ears. In 10 minutes more barking and staring at the door.
I put on the worst clothes I own, holes and with paint all over, my old dirty lawn mowing shoes and I went out, the ground wet from the rain that had just stopped only minutes before.
I strapped the leash to Harley and turned Roscoe loose, with the basket in hand me and Harley picked okra and cucumbers.Then we walked the fields a couple of muddy rounds in the tall grass.
I put the dogs back up and as I bent to pick up the trash, empty dog treat bag, Roscoe shook the muddy water off him and ALL over me.
I had been mudded!

That`s right! They do not care if people get mud of then since they always have mud of their doggie selves!

I cannot stand being wet..when it is hot outside.
I do not mind if it is cold..strange huh?

@TiarasOceanView I don't mind the cold either, but hot and sticky is miserable! Those mosquitoes, we really dislike those dumb things:(

I used to love spraying Cowboy, my son's dog and he really liked it. But then I paid for cause I got drenched with his showers from his heavy coat. Now Jax likes to get his paws muddy then try to jump on someone and there was times when it was me. But it is fun, isn't it?

Mine were wet from hunting in the grown up grass for rabbits. I dont mnd since I was headed for the shower anyways.

I get wet and sloppy sometimes, but its usually paint sloppy not mud sloppy. If I lived in the countryside I'd probably get sloppy more often.

I got wet in rain but never sloppy...lol
Do you have field or you work there? You pick up a lot fresh fruits and veggies.

We don't have much mud here but the dogs love to shake all over me when they come in from the rain

@andriaperry I struggle every single day, to be able to wear clothes, just one more time!:) With Kobe in our back yard, that is a great big joke! The minute I go outdoors, he sniffs me from head to toe, with a filthy black nose:( My clothes seldom make it, to a second time around!
