Have you been to a Spoken Poetry before?

How I really like to witness a Spoken Poetry somewhere in the city. I read some blog about it and I know the place but I'm afraid to go. I couldn't ask the boyfriend because for sure he won't like it. He is not into some poetry and he is not even poetic so for sure it's a no for him. I know someone who tried this but we are not even friends but I know her. She spoke herself in her poem. The poem that she has doesn't rhyme but it's a poem. I am very pleased with the idea of witnessing a Spoken poetry from anyone. I didn't know about this not until I saw videos on Social media. I wanna try going there and witness it myself one of these days. I also heard that they are looking for members but I don't think I am poetic enough.
