First, isn't Spunky funny? He was my sweet big boy, a Maine Coon mix, and he liked to play with water if it was in a tub like in the photo or if it trickled from a faucet. Well, the Roto Rooter man fixed the spigot and gave me a discount, or so he said. Given the nature of the work required which included replacing the whole spigot and to do that he had to saw a section of the skirting in order to get to the problem I thought his quote of $400 was to be expected but he did give me a discount of $100. It's expensive for me but I suppose that's what people charge for those kinds of jobs anymore ...... besides, when was the last time you heard of a cheap plumber? And, if you have, did he do a good job? So, that's fixed, now to get it paid off and hope I can get the project I hoped to do done next year.
