I Hate The Thought of War

I've been watching the news today with trepidation. North Korea's bluster has escalated to threats and I am mortified by what could possibly happen if calm heads do not prevail. I never think war is the only answer being an old peacenik and all. It seems that innocent people always pay the price for the egos and power lust of unhinged leaders.
That being said, there are no easy answers. Diplomacy is the better option but will it work this time? Isn't it worth a shot? I know I'm an idealist but why can't we all live in peace? What do you all think is going to happen?

Thats okay vent away. It does cross my mind, but I sure am not going to delve into this or stay awake at night because of it, as I figure in the end, we have no control over it.
This does not mean it does not concern me greatly, but I have to minimize stress levels until I am actually in full survival mode, if indeed it does come to that.

I don't plan to lose sleep either but I am concerned. Hopefully it will all turn out okay.

I think all that the Bible predicted about 2000 years ago is all showing up on the daily news. And if most people don't or wont believe it, the Bible also said that would happen. Prayer and faith will be very important in the days ahead as there is more trouble on the horizon. It's going to get a lot worse before it will get better but it will get better.

I keep remembering what people told me about living through the Cuban Missile Crisis. They said people thought the strike was imminent. So, I try to remember that we have thought terrible things were going to happen, and they did not happen. I think North Korea knows the entire world, minus a few countries, would bombard them if they tried anything. Certainly, wars do and have happened, but for now, I think we can try to believe the worst will not happen. I guess this is where a lot of prayer comes in.

I'm the same. i wish we can all live in peace the idea of war is scary and there's new news on it everyday and it's really scary. I don't know what the right answer is but I wish people didn't have to get hurt especially innocent people.
