Just Junk On Friday Morning - August 11th.

Good morning!
Its a cloudy day, we had some very strong thunderstorms last night with lightening that was striking the ground, the thunder vibrating the earth, once the strike and boom was so loud it scared me and I jumped. We once had the lights to blink once, that I am grateful for because it takes hours and hours for them to restore power way out here.
After the storm with the thunder and lightening passed, I went back to what I was doing, slicing cucumbers and peeling garlic to make dill pickles. I got 8 pints home canned before I went to bed last night.
And a big wow, its the 11th. already! And it felt like I was just collecting rent yesterday!
I am supposed to work today, regardless of rain, but I will have to see how that goes I may have to put it off till tomorrow, if I can get all my ducks in a row.

Your pickles look so good and I love dill pickles. My morning was busy with some running around and I feel as if the day is just flying by too fast
