I don't know if this is me asking myself or I got carried away by the movie I am watching at the moment. Actually, I'm doing a multi tasking right now. I watch a movie then pause, mylot and interact, then visit my new website for a reconstruction. I even play Solitaire at one time. The movie I am watching now is The Age of Adaline. This got me curious when I read the review about this movie though I heard of it some time ago. Plus Blake Lively and my new favorite Actor Michiel Huisman. The Dario Naharis in Game of Thrones - if you know what I mean. The movie tells about a woman after got an accident at age of 29 never age at all. It is quite impossible but she manages to live her life in a healthy kind of way. She still beautiful and stunning. This makes me wonder if there is someone out there having this gift?

If you watched the old movie "Lost Horizon", it describes an idyllic valley (called Shangri-La), where people never get old... until they stay in the valley.

@JustBhem It is a very old movie, but beautiful. A plane crash on high mountains and the survivors are saved by the people living in this valley. The captain fall in love with one of the girls and he wants to bring her with him... out of the valley.

Well, they are not showing that actor after season 6, I mean he was left off in Mereen (lol). I don't think every one will get that lucky about being immortal via hit by lightning. It would be sad though because people you are close to are going to get old and die. Unless you have no close friends and wants to live forever, it can be sad after a while. I mean you will witness everything...even the end of the world.

I've seen that movie too and it was awesome. It was a bit sad living and not getting older and seeing others pass away while you still live. Such immortality. I don't think I would want to live that long. I think it's not a gift but it's an illness.

It is indeed a nice movie. But after the second accident, she ages. It is a curse and at the same time a gift, for me.
