Have you ever been to Disney?

My 5 year old cousin is going to earn a trip to Disney as a birthday gift and that's all he can talk about... With everyone! He is kind obssessive with this trip and it's very funny to see his excitement because it's something really genuine. I've never been there, but one day I want to go.

Yes and no. I've been to Disney World twice, once in 1974 and once in 1979. In those days you could get through most of the park in one day. By today's definition of "Disney World" (where Orlando is now considered a suburb of the park instead of the other way around ), that doesn't count. I also went to Disney Land in 1983. I liked it a lot better because it seemed to be more in line with Walt Disney's idea and less in line with a money-making corporation.

I have been to Disney World twice. But it's been a while. I am hoping that I can go again and take my family.

I went to Disneyland in California when visiting with my grand mom back in the mid 1970's. I've never had a desire to go to Disney world in Florida.

Don't you mean Disneyland or Disney World? If you mean one of those I was at Disneyland and loved it.

The 1st time I visited a Disney attraction we got "stuck" on the monorail. There was a jerk, then the train stopped, and we all sat there clueless for about 20 minutes. Then we learned that our train had struck and killed a boy. That sobering incident caused me to lose interest in amusement parks.

In the early 1980s I went to Disney World in Florida. I don't remember much but I do know that today I could not afford to go again.

I have never been but I would like to go one day. It would be fun but it is just so big that you would have to spend a lot of time there to see and experience it all and that would cost a lot of money.

I have never been. I really don't want to go because of the crowds and long lines. I don't even enjoy Six Flags anymore because the lines are so long. My grandbaby is going though, with her mom. Their dance group goes every other year. My daughter and her family love Disney.
