Yea!!! It is almost over. I have not exactly given up on parties but pretty much don't go to many. BUT...when I have a friend visiting from another country it seems as if all we do is sightsee and drink too much.
My best friend is here from Shanghai and when we get together it seems as if the drinks are unlimited. I usually will have one drink and then one ginger ale but he gave me the idea of having whiskey and ginger...LOL...
Anyway, he is going back home in a day or so and I can go back to my limited drinks. Fortunately, I do not have hangovers...

A long time ago, in your country in Laguna, Santa Rosa I had a close call...the vice mayor and I were drinking some concoction made from a palm tree....I slept most of the next day!

It was from a coconut tree probably, popularly known as Lambanog. I have never tried it. I got drunk in Bangkok only once but no hangover. I was there for 6 months, four years ago or was it five already, I forgot.

I am not cooking too much anymore. In fact a few months ago I sold my old stove. I will eventually get a new one and start again. Without being ostentatious, my friend refuses me to spend a dime on him.

LOL, I wish! I am fortunate that my friend is pretty well off having a worldwide business and is extremely generous!
