My friend lost her mother. Both her parents were bedridden. Her father has been in that condition for over 18 years. Her mother was in that condition for 5 years. The saddest thing is that her father is not aware that his wife is no more. I am not sure how the parting was organised. I went there only for a while as I cannot face funerals. I will visit her again after a few days. This friend has been taking care of her parents with the utmost devotion with her husband helping her all the way. I am proud of my friend.

Your friend is a very loving and caring child of her parents. Imagine, the parents were both bedridden. How was she able to take care of them all?

She gave up her social life totally and spent enormous amounts on home nurses to help her care for them

It's really sad on your friend's part to lose one of her parents. Being on her side during the time of sorrow is the best thing a friend can do.
