Last week it was so hot that this week I am happy to see the rain. So I started thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of rain.
Advantages: I don't have to water the garden (and since I am looking after two other peoples' gardens while they are traveling, I don't have to do that either)
I don't have to wash the car
It's cooler
Disadvantages: laundry doesn't dry
kids can't go out to play (not a problem at home for me but at school we want those kids to go out for recess)
have to take an umbrella and wear shoes that can take the rain
I guess no matter what, all kinds of weather has both advantages and disadvantages. What are some more advantages or disadvantages of your current weather?

I am glad that you got some rain. advantages to add is the nice clean smell, helps save on water bills, and I sleep better. Disadvantages would be the mud that comes with rain. The landlord doesn't have grass here so I look at big mud puddles everywhere. That is ok, let it rain.

Right now it is not raining but there is the occasional storm.
The cool weather means I cannot dry my clothes outside on the balcony so have to pay for the dryer.
But I love the cool weather as I can get out more.

It seems there are always advantages and disadvantages. If you want a view you have be prepared to walk up the hill and so it goes. Bit of a shame really.

we save rain water to the water plants when the rain stops.
i know in other countries, they have dryers and the clothes come out ready to fold. how about in japan?
commuting is a pain when it's raining.
