Do you like taking selfies?

I was browsing Facebook and all I see on my wall were selfies of friends. I envy the confidence they have to post their selfies. I mean, I am not much into that. I like pictures, do not get me wrong. I take selfies too. But i do not so much post them on my social media. And I prefer taking pictures with friends - capturing the moment. So, taking solo pictures of your face on different angles and doing different "wacky" poses with your face and post millions of those shots on facebook?

I am a little bothered, and to be honest, it somehow irritates me to see several photos of the same face on my wall. I guess it won't be so irritating if they, uhm, look pleasing. Sorry, am I being so mean?

I can't imagine why people wan't to do this. To me, it is just egotistical. And it's another reason I'm not on FB.

You aren't mean but sensible. I someone left a selfie on my site with their tongue hanging out or any other grimace, I'd unfriend this person at once. And I'd tell them the reason.

In fact I seldom take selfies. I like take photos for others, the objects, scenery, animals and so on. And I don't often post my selfie online but it depends on. If it is an important moment I will still post it to my social media.

I am also not like to take selfies, it irritates me to see so many people doing nowadays. So I think you are not being mean at all, every one of us has different interests though.

I do not care much for selfies either. I only take them when there is a reason too. I use them for different websites. I also like pictures with others to capture a moment like with my son. I know people who like to take selfies and do not see the appeal.

Haha I am not a fan of selfie too and I only post breakfast/snack/lunch/dinner food photos cooked from home, not boasting like foods in 5/5 star restaurants

Yes I love taking selfie ! I have a lots of photos and videos on my phone, and I post it to my Facebook account because that is my hobby, to take selfie and save as a memory

I take selfies once in a while just the status of face. Posting selfies of same faces on social irritates a lot people cos it more of telling them to compare same face rather appreciate it.

I honestly feel the same way. There are few far in between selfies that I actually am moved to blast to the public. I've withdrawn a lot of selfie data from my social networks. I get shy after a while.
