Space Ship Takes off at Cape Canaveral Air force Station, Florida

Today was an exciting day and great weather made it so as the Space Ship took off about 12:34PM. It carried about 6,000 pounds and it was headed way above the clouds to resupply the International Space Station.
We can see and feel it right in our house and if the weather is nice we can see it clearly. My husband and I go out to watch it even in the middle of the night. Today I stayed inside and watched it on tv as it is so hot outside.
I did feel it though, even in the house. It is always exciting.

It is always so great to watch and if it wasn't so hot out I would go out. The tv has great coverage and we can see it clearer there but knowing we are right below it is amazing. Sometimes they don't make it and have to return.

Yes, it is very loud. For some reason some of them are louder than others. Maybe because of the weight and size of them. Not sure but a good question for me to start asking.

@amadeo At night it is really nice as you can see it for a long time unless it is cloudy outside. We can feel it in the house sometimes to. When we first moved here I had no idea about them so close and my husband was sound asleep and I thought the house was falling down. That one shook the house a lot.

I just found out another one is going up next week. My husband keeps up with the schedule and is always out there watching it.
