In my country we have a religious holiday today. Sevral people did not work on Monday and have had a long week end out of town. The rest of them visit or talk with friends during the day. This morning, I received an early visit from Claudia. She was coming to take a cup of coffee with me and clear the money issues we still had from Aruba and to see how she would pay me for her car (I lent her the money to buy it). As it turned out, she went home sometime past 2 PM. Numbers were not so easy in spite of her doing it all alone. Later on, I had lunch an took a big nap. And as I mylotting, my eldest daughter called me. WhatsApp is free. So I had a 2 hour visit from her. She is in the south of Chile with her BF, but she started saying that being with another person for 24 hours, and several days was too much. I know that and told her so. And then she updated me about her whole family. Now I will have to see what to eat for dinner. It is past 10 PM and I haven´t eated dinner yet. What did you have for dinner? Do you have this holiday where you live?

@marguicha So far as a day it was okay but not much more than that really. I was not in that festive a mood for anything pretty tough times but no matter.

It was a religious holiday here also, The Assumption of Mary. This is the time of the year when all people are vacationing here in Europe.

My 2 eldest grandsons are in Europe. They are young and musicians so they have bands who perform at the streets for some coins during the holiday season.

Glad you enjoyed your day. Dinner yesterday was burgers if I remember correctly. No, we did not have a holiday yesterday. This month we have two holidays though and both will fall on a Monday.

@marguicha yummy... tuna salad! This coming Monday and next Monday are both holidays. I still have to work though but all is well since I'm getting paid twice my salary for those two days.

I made a delicious tuna salad. It included small onion filled olives, a cut up hard boiled egg, homemade mayo and shredded lettuce.

Oh, do you mean the assumption of Our Lady, 15th of August? It is a big feast day in some countries.
