Any and all life is sacred

Dang it all. I'm in a fizzle. Again. Anyway, I have messaged a local animal welfare organization. What? What am I doing now? I have a captured cat in a cat carrier on my picnic table. I am a law breaker. Again. The neighbors just do not get it. They just don't get it. And they are doing nothing. Nada. I spotted this cat as I headed to get the mail this evening. Every precious bone on its little body is sticking out. Shoulders and ribs. Looks like a furry dinosaur. It NEEDS food. And there are is an army behind it. There must be twenty or more cats and kittens over there in the same shape. I can not allow this cat over here around my cats. God knows what they would get from those neighbor cats. I have never allowed my cats to get to this kitty's shape. Its a nice cat. It just wanted food. I gave it a hot dog and a half cup of food. So now I sit and wait for tomorrow. Hoping the organization will have an idea on what to do. Our animal shelter is over run. Of course I may end up letting the cat go home. Gulp on that idea. No I am not just an animal lover. Life is sacred. Cats are lives. Treat them decently or just don't have them.

Poor lil tyke, it surprises me that it's in such bad shape since cats are prone to going back to hunting once their stupid human ignores them. The ferals in the area I used to live in ate the birds, lizards and whatever cat food they could find in other peoples yards. I personally never let my kitties roam freely, and boy are they eating me outta house n home ..... k, that's an overstatement but they are expensive.

@rebelann I know that there are tons of mice and other rodents here but I'm not sure that catching them and eating them will be a total meal plus some of these cats are not half grown so may not have the zip to catch a meal. And pesticides in rodents.

Yeah, kittens need their moms to teach them to hunt @sallypup I wish people would stop messing with pets if they don't want to care for them. Could also be the poor thing has a tape worm.

@rebelann All the cats are terribly thin and just sitting around. None looked healthy.

I hate to see homeless animals. Pet owners should have them neutered.

@RubyHawks These cats belong to the neighbors. The neighbors just are not caring for them hardly at all.

@RubyHawk Its hard to know what to say or do- animals half alive and suffering or mercifully put down?? Anyway, I did get ahold of the dog catcher and holy moley, he sounds decent!!! Surprised me totally. He says he will be here in the morning to look over the situation and even look at their horse- that mare has had no hoof trims for years. (Horses should be cared for every 3 months or so.) So we'll see.....

@sallypup I don't know what you could do about that. If you call animal control they'll likely put the animals down.

Where I live those neighbors would be arrested for animal abuse.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. If you cannot take care of children or animals then do have any. It is not worth the suffering and heartbreak.

@Deeppizzaguy. Whatever species, the little ones are innocents and vulnerable so they need to be watched out for.
